A simple, low-cost way of listening to people directly and turning what we hear into something structured and useful.
Currently being tested at small scale in real-world settings.
Go out into the real world, speak to people directly, and build a structured picture of what is actually happening on the ground.
The approach is deliberately low-cost, lightweight, and easy to repeat. It does not rely on formal surveys or institutions. It is designed to work in everyday environments such as markets and public spaces.
The aim is to develop a method that can be used by anyone to capture real voices and turn them into something useful.
Fieldwork involves direct, informal conversations with people in everyday settings.
We capture short voice notes, observations, and lived experiences — particularly from those who are rarely asked or represented.
This is not data collection in the traditional sense. Each interaction is small, but over time patterns begin to emerge.
Most systems rely on formal data, surveys, or institutional input. Fieldwork is an attempt to create a parallel layer of understanding based on real voices.
It has potential applications in:
This project is at a very early stage. Everything is being built through use.
We are currently testing:
The focus is on small-scale, real-world testing rather than theory.
There is potential to extend this work into:
These are directions, not finished systems.
